Possible plans for the possible future....
So...here i go again, It must have been the culmination of my not so recent unemployment and the attendence of graduation parties that have caused me think of my future and what my future plans are. I know that some of you might have read a blog on my myspace that was titled "Uncertain Future" but since then i beleive that I have grown and have better direction towards where i want to go. I still want to go to school and get a degree and I still have no idea what that degree might be, but it might be a criminal justice degree of some sort as one of my three options that I will have come January will be go to the police academy and join the police force. It has always been a dream of mine to be a police officer and I have a feeling I would truly enjoy the job, im calling the precinct closest to my house later on this week to set up a ride along and decide if that is something that i could really do. The second option is to stay here in Vancouver and work a job that I find, which I just got a call back the other day for an interview to be a security guard at the LaCenter Casinos...so the job hunt is showing some improvements and I might actually get a job soon...anyways, I can just work and go to school part-time so get my 2 year degree eventually. This is actually the least favorite of the three options and will be last resort if the other two dont work out. The third option is move in with Gary in Florida and the beginning of next year and work for the greatest company in the world and share magic with the mouse. This seems to be my favorite option since as soon as I live down there long enough I could get in-state tuition for UCF and then with Disney's tuition reimbursment school would be pretty cheap and i could still get my college degree doing something I love to do. But along with all of the perks with moving down to florida, there are definate cons as well, one of those being i need a car that I am able to drive down there which i dont have at the moment. In order to get down there i would need to buy a car, then i have to think about if i will have enough money working for disney to cover a car payment, rent, utilities and when i go....college and books. Also moving down to Florida moves me a great distance away from my family, and since i dont know when i will be coming back i dont know when the next time i see them will be. But now thinking, i have another option as well, and that is go to the police academy in January work for about a year here in vancouver and then see if i can request a transfer to orlando, or just move down to florida and go to the academy there. But i dont know what im going to do, these are just a list of options that im trying to go by so it seems like i have some sense of direction where my life is heading. But there it is...my possible plans that will happen in January '07.

So I know that this post has been widely anticipated....well maybe not widely, but as my first post I feel like I will be letting the blogging community down. As I first planned I was going to produce a post in which I was going to try and rival my dear friend and co-founder of this blog Capt. J. but due to recent events I am not in the mood to produce such a great piece of art. What happened was I recently got fired from my job, and for the past week or so i have been thinking...what makes people make the choices that they make even though they know the choice is the wrong choice. It really still doesn't make any sense to me and I cant make any sense of what I did. Now while what I did wasn't illegal or unethical, it was a mistake that cost me my job, in fact it was a great job, one that allowed me to go to work whenever I wanted, good pay and weekends off. To be honest I don't even know where this post will end up, my thoughts are so scattered it amazes me that i get the occasional sentence onto the screen. But what I do know is that I have changed, I never used to believe that one experience could change a persons life and how they live it drastically, but from the moment that I lost my job, my perspective has changed and i now feel that I can accomplish so many more things once i apply my full potential. well thats about it right now, my thoughts are jumbled and i cant get anymore out into words so i will post again soon and elaborate on my current job search.

In The Begining
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth...but roughly soon after a babe was born. The birth of a babe not in a rustic middle-eastern manger but in a middle-class hospital in the middle of historic and award-winning Longview, Washington. (Prepare for amazingly useless knowledge) Why historical? This is due to cold hard fact that Longview is precisely the second largest planned/plotted city in the U.S. next to Washington D.C. Ohh yaa, but oh...oh...please know that the title "awarding-winning" is our secret weapon and smutty bragging right based on our county having the highest rate of STDs (whoa, impressive), teenage pregnancy (juicy hot!), and death rate. Yes, its a monstrous cesspool, a cornucopia of retirement home/Caucasian love brothel. This is my motherland...my childhood stomping grounds as a wee lad and I cherish it still today for its trinket-like qualities.
My introduction needs to be made for the new viewers my name Jon Theriault and I am co-creator of this pirate-intoxicated site. For viewer in the mid-west and the bible-belt we will be making religious references from time to time, and we will keep the swearing to a minimum...for all the rest its a carpe Diem realm -more in-depth explanation to come. Ryan V. or famously known now as TP. (nick-name story for another blog) and I are Christians but I would described myself as a Jesus-rebel. Deep down in my religious lions I display my faith through my life experiences and exposing the true satisfaction hes given me. Sadly, I am not the typical cookie-cutter bible thumper that watches every little step taken in his/her's life or a pressuring near-stroke-giving Christian that suffocates the non-believer with damnation and judgements. Laughter is my philosophy, adventure is my canvas, fun is my paintbrush. Whoa-a little deeper than the usually Jonny T, but its a blog, as I see it, its a high-tech version of Doug's "dear journal..." from the nostalgic days of Nickelodeon.
My life is truly a study...a lifestyle...as I've said...in randomology and you will never be bored when I am in the presence of you, yes you reader. You may be confused or frightened but I really do mean the best of intentions. Sadly, you will just not have time to realize that you are bored. Its tasking at times for me but one my passions is to keep people guessing and wetting themselves from laughter at other times. For the very critical/party poopers of the blogs- everyone is going to have typical expectations like: yes...I do take showers, sometimes more than once a day and I do eat, sleep, and love fiber. I can't help it I like to stay regular. You can ask my wondrous roomie Trevor about fiber-it might be the fountain of youth in disguise.
Ryan...excuse me...TP will explain his side of blog/bio when he has the time from his busy schedule of work, soccer, and degree in laziology. He is a dear friend of mine, basically a brother from another mother and etc. I met this gracious man through the magical miracle of Walt Disney World Internship. He was my snoring roommate that I was very lucky to befriend. For some reason we never fought and the chemistry just flowed. Sometimes we would yell just to yell at each other then conclude with laughter. Vista Way Security doesn't like singing or yelling though. what? (Don't fret details later.) So many stories so many memories that we will have to bank it for another blog.
My whys and reasons to this blog was basically let the world inside Jon T.'s world and explode with theories, stories, memories, and abnormal bursts of arbitrary tidbits. Sometimes, my personal thoughts can be more easily stated through words than explained in person, because some people perceive me as total goof, which is dandy, I love being that but...this invention of blog will help me tell you that there is more to the goof. There will be entries when I may be spilling my soul, and cursing pointless nothings the next entry please just don't judge and if you are frustrated or confused I will be glad to explain. That's what this is all about eh!I hope you laugh, (optional) cry, relax (its ok nudity is excepted) love, and enjoy.
Salutations, HH. Cpt. J Rufio
